My favourite, I think, was either the faery, Reth, or Alisha the mermaid, the latter being a fresh addition to the usual vampire / werewolf / zombie paranormal fare. The storyline was engaging, as were the characters, on the whole.

I enjoyed how the various paranormal creatures were present in the story and how they interacted. But the problem is, she isn’t normal.įurthermore, when paranormals begin dying it seems that something or someone is targeting them, but why? And what does it have to do with Evie? Will she be able to stop who is behind it before it is too late? However, all she wants is a normal life to go to a normal school, have normal friends and to go to the prom.
